Alicia Reborn is a private server for the beloved Alicia, a horse-racing game that has remained one of the most popular horse games to date.
Despite its shutdown in 2014, Alicia has been kept alive by fans and players alike. One such private server, Alicia Online, kept the game running long after its original shutdown but would sadly go offline in 2024, leaving players with no sign of it coming back up. In response to this, a few other servers have already cropped up in an attempt to keep the magic going. One such server is Alicia Reborn.
First announced in February of 2026, the developers have made steady progress with the server, slowly building towards closed beta, which finally launched in April. The closed beta landed with racing and breeding intact, along with a few minor tweaks to refine the experience. Some rough edges were still being softened: translation, tack, and injury systems.
This comes as no surprise, as Alicia was a Korean game. On top of needing to be reverse engineered, translators are also required to ensure English players can enjoy the game without a serious language barrier.
This hasn’t slowed the developers down much. Since the launch, they have added pets, armour stats, quests, and guild battles for a better online experience. The continuous forward momentum looks promising for Alicia Reborn, and we hope they can stick around for years to come.
Another version of the game, Story of Alicia, has also launched its own private server.
NOTE: Alicia Reborn is a private server based on an official game from Ntreeve: Alicia. Alicia Reborn does not make any money on this project. They are not allowed to. Although we do not condone any sort of piracy, Alicia has always sat within a grey area of this rule, as Ntreeve gave their blessing for players to continue with the game.
