In a recent blog post, Star Stable Online, the largest MMO horse game, announced they would be hosting a fashion show! A great comeback of the Fashion Week Event.
The event will have six rounds, with each round focusing on a specific theme like Fae Kingdoms, The Villains of the Story, or Druids. After each round, voting will commence. If you manage to snag a spot in the top three, you can win up to 1000 Jorvik Shillings, the in-game currency used to purchase certain gear.
If you did not rank high, no worries—everyone receives at least 250 Jorvik Shillings as a participation reward!
However, the announcement has been met with some mixed feelings from players who have pointed out that the Fashion Week Event used to be held at the Jorvik Mall, an area that has been largely abandoned by the team. Another issue raised was the small reward for winning the show. 1000 Jorvik Shillings is a small amount when we consider that saddles or even hats swing up to 9000 shillings. Plus, seeing as players are not being rewarded with Star Coins (the paid currency), SSO could easily make the reward higher.

EDIT: Star Stable has noted in a recent blog post that they are still working on feedback for the fashion show. There are still plenty of kinks to work out. As for why this was not held at the mall, the developer noted it could potentially put players off from participating, seeing as you need to travel specifically to the mall.
